Miyamoto Ayumu returns to his hometown in Nagano Prefecture to work as an orthopedic surgeon at a general hospital. He's also assigned to the mountain medical team, which treats patients injured or sick in the mountains. Initially unenthusiastic, Ayumu gradually changes through teamwork and experience.
